Repetitive request for Login PW for my Outlook365

Every time I launch Thunderbird I get a request to enter my PW for my Outlook365.com account. Upon entering the correct PW (I verified the PW by loging into my Outlook365 account) I get the responce that the Login Failed.

This issue never ends...

What is happening here? Frankly, I think your app is faulty...although I can get around this nuisance but I'm just about ready to remove Thunderbird permenantely.

I have been through the article posted and my problem is not resolved.
