space between words disappears and words flow together

When typing, the space bar appears to advance but when the next word is typed the space disappears and words flow together ! Such as: wordsflowtogether. I can then go back and insert the spaces but this is not a solution! The problem is occurring while commenting on yahoo page on Fox news. I believe this started after last update. Not happening in Safari.

Other browsers work ok. Only Firefox is a problem !
