I have tried downloading and installing Adobe Flashplayer and when it comes to install it keeps telling me the Firefox is open when it is closed. Why?

I am trying to open a jigsaw puzzle which I have always done with Crazy4Jigsaws and am unable to get the number of pieces to download 52, 192. So I checked my plugins and found the Flash Player was not activated, so I enabled it. When that did not work I tried reinstalling the latest. After downloading Adobe requested I should close Firefox to install the Flash Player and then it would get to 59% and say Firefox was open when it was not.

Hi, you have 2 versions of Shockwave Flash - which can cause problems, so I suggest you remove them both from your machine, then download a new version - it might be a good idea to close FF, then use a different browser to download to your PC.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
