Problems downloading and installing Firefox 4 beta
Yesterday I unsuccessfully tried to download and install Firefox 4 Beta. After receiving the prompt for the folder to save the file, the browser hung for a coupl of minutes. It then recovered and I proceeded with the download. This took a very long time (about 10 mins over a broadband link. On completion, I clicked to run the file, and got a error mesage telling me the file could not be found. I checked the folder and found the entry. I tried again, overwriting the original file, but had the same problem. I then tried for a third time, saving the file to a different folder. This time the installation sequence started, but I got an error mesage saying the file was corrupt.
Anyone else having similar problems? Any ideas on a fix?
Incidentlly I also posted a similar question to this on the forum yesterday, but cannot any trace of it today. All very weird!

I have now tried downloading using a different browser (Chrome) and have successfully installed 4 beta. Problems I had before were with FF V3.6.8, so I wonder if there is a bug there that needs to be fixed. Will do some more experimenting at a later date, but this may be a pointer if anyone else has similar difficulties.
