In profile on Desktop, my phone doesn't even show up as one of my devices with Firefox browser, tho it's been on there for years. So long, I'd forgotten I'd chosen Focus. Is it so private even Firefox doesn't know about it?

Does syncing require that I ALSO download Firefox ADHD in order to sync with my desktop?

I have a 8" Android 10 tablet with FF Focus as a default browser. Half the width of screen is taken by four buttons (back, forward, reload and trash). On the phone I only have one (trash). I'd like to have similarly simple view on the tablet with only one button in front of address bar instead of four, since on a small tablet this creates clutter (often I can't see even a short address, only a domain name fits). Is it possible to achieve?

I added a search engine. I had the right %s URL string. When I added it, Firefox Focus said "make sure you replace the search string with %s". That made me think it was checking the URL, so I added https:// in front, BUT I accidentally removed the first letter of the URL. It let me add it, but then searches didn't work. It letting me use the typo implies it doesn't check the URL.

A novice user may not realize that the error really means "add https://" not the catch-all "check your %s". Not sure where to report bugs, so I'm adding it here.

The workflow to fix my typo could also be improved upon. It's dark-pattern adjacent to have to go in to search settings, change the default to another engine (assuming there is one), get kicked back to main settings, then have to go back to search engines, remove the one you added, then add it again. Could be fixed by having Focus actually try the URL when adding one. I think adding offline would be a very infrequent use case, but you could make it prompt "Hey, I can't load this URL are you sure you want to add it?"

Hi, I have an account with https://www.theguardian.com . On iOS 16.4.1 with the latest Firefox Focus as of today 25 April 2023 (112.0) I kept getting sign-in failures because of Google Captcha issues. Initially I thought it was an issue with Google or the Guardian but this was lasting for many days. I could sign in fine using Safari on Mac Venture 13.3.1 . So I finally had the idea of disabling the content blocker - Firefox Focus, and then the Guardian's sign in page with the Google captcha worked fine and I was allowed to sign in on Safari, plus the iOS app The Guardian as it is using Safari for signing-in. Please fix this. Thank you

Hey, just wanted to bring awareness to the popout video player being broken in FFfocus on android (on my samsung S21, anyway) as of the latest stable FFfocus update.

As i move the video box up my screen, the video shrinks down, and the box gets filled by a black border. By the time the video player is at the top of the screen, the whole box is pure black.

P.S. this is a throwaway email (sorry), so i wont be able to respond. I just wanted to give a heads up, and the google play rep, told me to make a post here.

On a certain webpage the shield icon is crossed out and tracking protection is disabled. I enable it myself, but after a while it becomes disabled again. I am not logged in to the site. What is going on?

can I download Firefox focus from Mozilla directly on my tablet automatically with full settings for Android tablet as default search engine and for private use

I put in a question on Firefox focus, non sexual, and was sent to pornography site, which blocked my attempt leave site. Firefox focus would not leave the site and each time I pressed the backwards key the site showed more pornography.So I uninstalled Firefox focus. Why does Firefox focus allow the hijacking of its site.

I have Firefox Focus and I have enjoyed it except for one blaring issue. Without closing it, it sometimes completely restarts and closes every tab. I lose SO much when it happens. Is there ANYTHING that I can do in this instance to retrieve my tabs?

Especially for some sites, such as the Washington Post, when attempting to clear Focus by tapping the trash can, Focus freezes, then (both) the iPad or iPhone go black with a small spinning circle, rebooting to iPad's/iPhone's entry screen. This started happening recently, in early 2023, after updating iOS. Very very very (did I say "very"?) annoying. If this is not a current Focus bug report, it should be.

Ever since the past week or so, when watching a video and rotating my phone to landscape, the video will not expand to landscape. There is a very tiny box center mid at the top that is the video but the the full window is gray. I have pixel 5 with up to date android.
