hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. Using Mac OS 10.13.6, Firefox recently updated to 115.0.3, and now the Overdrive app (from the public library) won't download audiobook files anymore. Have tried clearing cache, restarting, removing book files, restarting, and reloading the OD app, etc. The error message is that the app can't connect to the internet. My internet connection is fine - this is only happening with this app. It only started doing this when Firefox updated. I tried loading an earlier version of Firefox but it automatically went to this Beta update channel version. Can you help me go back to an earlier version of Firefox that won't automatically update? (I'm not able to upgrade this Mac, and this OS is the one that Overdrive works with. Firefox was the only browser that worked with Overdrive. Thanks - hope you can help!

Pretty much every video I attempt to play, including https://www.allaboutbirds.org/cams/red-tailed-hawks/# will play the video only when audio is muted. unmute the audio and you get the audio track but the video is paused.

Can't figure this one out, I've seen it only in the last few days (it started when I was using 127.0.0 and continues in 127.0.1)

Chrome and Chromium don't do this.

Suppose that I have a 5 kbyte comment with multiple paragraphs, and I skip around copy and pasting from one place to another, and highlight some sentences and over write them either with typing or pasting. When I go to undo or redo some of these things, it causes a big screw-up in the text.

Other than it being my problem to recompose the damaged sentences, etc, what developers need to be contacted to fix the undo and redo functions of the YouTube comment input text controls for YouTube videos?

Hello! Since I couldn't find help in the forums, I will create a new question. For about a year now the PC at my work will not open mailto-links correctly. There is no account to select from, the subject has a lock-symbol. The receiver's address is correct though (I replaced it with "address" for the screenshot). This PC is the only one I know with that problem and only with external mailto-links. If I click on an email address inside a mail, it opens it correctly. Thunderbird version 115.11.1 (32-Bit), Win 10

Firefox for Android gets frozen when using it to open large PDF files. I have been meaning to change my default PDF viewer app, but once Firefox has been set as the default PDF viewer for Android, there will no way to change this default; as Firefox default's don't have the option to be deleted through Android's App Info menu.

I would like to use Firefox as a browser on my Linux Mint device. As I said in the headline, I have set all languages in the system as well as in Firefox to German and uninstalled and reinstalled the dictionary. So when I write something in Firefox it is underlined in red and when I right click for the context menu where word suggestions are made, only English is displayed and if I then scroll down and want to add another language as a spell checker, Firefox sends me to the add-on administration, which didn't help me. Because no matter what I do, only English (USA) is displayed as the language for spelling. Is there perhaps no way to change this, or is there another method?

Hello, I have been using TB for a long time wiht no mayor problem. I recently had a problem with the hosting services of 2-3 of the email addresses I use in TB and when I now open TB I can click once on the pop up (say on cancel), but when the next pop up message appears (with the same message but for another email address) TB freezes.

FF just updated to 127. Every time I open it I get the whole intro shebang about migrating, extensions, etc. When I finally get to "Start Browsing" none of my tabs or bookmarks will load. I have cleared the cache, tried reinstall and no change. What's next, please?

Im using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Intel cpu I7 9th gen NVIDIA gpu but i disabled it My problem is that the Picture in Picture mode isnt sticky if i press anything it vanishes from view.

I am using Thunderbird to connect to a personal POP & SMTP server. I have recently migrated to a new desktop and moved the old profile folder to the new computer (so I would keep all the emails). Everything was transferred successfully, including the profile settings.

When I open Thunderbird, I am asked for my password and it all goes well if I enter it manually. If I check the "Use Password Manager to remember this password" box, I am met with a "User to server X with username and password failed" - error and a "Sending of password for user did not succeed" - error. I am entering the exact same password in both cases, yet it only fails when I try to save it.

I have been configured my Gmail account in Mozilla thunderbird client version 115.12.0 in Windows 11 system. Have been receiving an error message frequently as below "Unable to write email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write Privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox."

System has enough space and memory and please advise.

Hi Mozilla - I just wanted to report some recent phenomena. In the past couple weeks Firefox, and related Private Browsing browser, seem to have developed consistent hangups in fetching data across a pretty wide range of sites. Both my banking sites will not load after logging in to them, just spins and spins. Also some very general searches will not load any results for minutes at a time, I just give up and kill them. I've uninstalled/cleaned/reinstalled latest version, etc, etc. By comparison, these same data fetches in banking sites, etc, work dandy in Duckduckgo browser, which is also a heavy no-trace browser. This ominous to me as I really like Firefox and do NOT want to have to resort to Edge. Duckduckgo browser is very good but doesn't have nearly the menu or favorites sort of features that Firefox does. Can you investigate? This is typical Win 10 system in Lenovo i7, been working like a champ till just recently, no system changes. Thanks.
