Hello After compacting inbox my messages were showing in the inbox list, however when I clicked on the message the message body was blank.

I tried repairing folder, now I no longer see the last 4 years of emails.

Is there anything I can do to recover them?

My computer has been warning me of low memory. Might that be causing or affect this?

With no warning there is no message displayed in the message pane for emails received after an apparently random date and before messages received within the last hour or so - there is a gap between those dates. If the user clicks on an email between those dates the message pane shows the from, to and subject of the last email he was able to view, not the correct information, and the message is not displayed. The problem first occurred on 8/1 (don't know what caused it then) and on 8/14 after user opened a Word document attached to an email and printed it. At both times he was running 128.0, and a subsequent update to 128.1 didn't resolve the issue. Repairing the folder on 8/1 appears to have deleted all the messages that would not display, this is confirmed by a reduction in the byte size of the inbox. On 8/14 I copied the inbox (but not the .msf) to local folders, when I opened it the .msf was built with 0 bytes and the "problem" messages were not displayed although this time the byte size of the inbox didn't change. At this point reverting to an earlier version would be a very acceptable option if I knew how to find one we can rely on. Thank you very much for your time.

Windows 10 Home 64 bit. Thunderbird 32 bit up to date I sent a group message with one bad email recipient. Now T-Bird keeps trying to resend that message to the bad address. How do I clear this email? I do have "Send later" installed which I used to send these group emails. I have corrected the bad email address in the 3 pending group emails. I removed all but those from the draft folder.

Just recently in my AOL mail inbox an autoplay video has appeared. It also appears in Chrome and FF, but, does not appear in either Edge or Safari. I use UBO in all browsers. I'm confused as to why this video only appears in FF and Chrome. I tried blocking it with UBO but that ends up blocking too much. I ended up adding the Display Autoplay extension which only stops the autoplay it does not block the video. I've attached screen shots showing the video in FF and that same area in Safari without the video. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm experiencing an issue with Thunderbird that started unexpectedly. Whenever I try to access my email, I get a warning message saying that "The site certificate is not valid for this server. Someone may be trying to impersonate the server. It is not recommended to proceed." I'm not sure why this error has suddenly appeared, as everything was working fine before. I haven’t made any changes to my email settings or installed new software recently. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows how to resolve it?

Things that I've already tried reading solutions around here:

changing "browser.rights.3.shown" in about:config to true (it was already set to true)

Checking the homepage setting in "Settings -> Home". Which was set to "Firefox Home (Default)". When changing it to custom and hitting the "Use Current Pages" button you can see the pipe with the privacy notice address. I then changed it to a completely different one. Restarted my PC and lo and behold, it added the "| https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/" at the end of it. So no use changing it there.

Reinstalling firefox. No luck there.

Reinstalling and deleting every "Mozilla" folder in appdata and anywhere it pop up.. no luck as well.

I'm sincerely considering changing browsers at this point, I love firefox, but this is a joke. It's chaning my freaking home and forcing me into a page with no option or simple checkbox to just don't open up pages I don't want?!

Strangely, I can't figure out how to add to someone else's post if it doesn't already have replies so I'm having to start my own thread. Anyway...

Thunderbird on my system is 32-bit on 32-bit Windows and a day or two ago it updated itself to version 115.10.1. Since then it's been slow at sending emails, receiving emails, applying filters and pretty much everything else. Is this being worked on? I saw a couple of similar reports from other people here but like I said, I can't add a reply to them.

And if it's not known about or being worked on, is there some way I can roll back an update?

Hi, today I suddenly noticed that all except my most recent tabs were gone. In "recently closed tabs" I only see tabs that I did actually close, not the 100+ that I didn't. There is a small chance this happened yesterday when I turned off my phone (I only noticed just now), but I haven't updated/ changed/ done anything out of the ordinary lately. I hoped I would find them through sync, but that wasn't working so stupidly enough I synced to fix that, which means sync now only says 0 tabs. Using Android 13 + Firefox 123.0(.1? There's a lot of different numbers on that page) Help?

I got increasingly frustrated that google.com search page gets increasingly unresponsive under Firefox, and performing searches from the address bar does not do a thing. Does not respond. The page remains blank. Sometimes it remembers to respond, but most often, it does not. I wanted to search something in the search bar. No response after hitting Enter, even though, I can open any bookmarks or webpages other than google.com. If I type google.com in the address bar and hit enter, it reverts to the previous page. Such as, imagine that I was at www.mozilla.org, and in the address bar, I type google.com. I hit enter, and it just ignores it, and reverts to mozilla.org. But if I type microsoft.com, it goes to open microsoft.com in an instance. My Firefox constantly update itself and before, I always deleted the cache file, now I don't even let caching pages, still, it is like this. I am not sure what is going on.
