I will avoid this.
When I delete an opened message, I will to go back to the list of messages.
I don't find how to do this in the options.

I understand your issue. I suggest you download this Addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/deselect-on-delete/
- Download to desktop or Downloads file.
- In Thunderbird, 'Tools' > 'Add-ons' to open 'Add-ons Manager' in a new tab.
- click on daisy wheel icon and select 'Install Addon from file'
- locate the downloaded .xpi file and click on 'Open'
