I want to search a webpage and to to the Edit Menu and click on Find and type in what I want to search. However, the on page "find" function no longer searches the page. It previously allowed me to search a page, but the function has suddenly quit working.

Make sure that Match case doesn't have a check-mark on the Find bar (Ctrl+F).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
