I bookmarked Google but it put it in the unsorted folder, which doesn't show under bookmarks. How do I get it to simply be "loose."

Google used to be bookmarked and not in a folder. I clicked on it several times trying to get it to open and it disappeared. I rebookmared it three times; nothing. Finally put it under "unsorted bookmarks." Nothing. Hunted and finally found it in "unsorted bookmarks" when I go to organize bookmarks, but neither Google nor "unsorted bookmarks" folder show up under the Bookmarks tab and I can't find a way to get it to. How do I get it to simply be loose under the tab again and not in any folder or sub category?

You can open such a bookmarked page in a tab and click the yellow highlighted star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and move the bookmark to another folder. If you want to see the bookmark on the Bookmarks Toolbar then move it to the folder with that name.
