Hey,

Just migrated to microsoft enviroment outlook and since am using a linux computer, I was looking for an email client where thunderbird shone the most. I managed to login successfully but my outlook folders are not showing in Thunderbird.

Urgently help.

If your account is set up as IMAP (not POP) then you need to 'subscribe' to the folders that you want to see in Thunderbird. Right-click the account in the folder pane, Subscribe, click Refresh. You should see the list of folders from your account. Then work with each folder - you can 'switch on' some folders and choose to leave others not synced. You might close and open Thunderbird to be sure the setting has saved.

Did you try the import wizard, Tools/Import, to to import local mail? TB and Outlook must be installed on the same computer, and in the import window, don't select Import Everything, but choose Mail, Address Books etc. separately.
