How to disable update pop-up notification?
Hello,
Is there any way to disable the update pop-up notification on the upper right hand corner of the browser for the 81.0+ version of Firefox?
None of the old workarounds via about:config seem to work, and nothing I enter prevents the pop-up from showing about every 24 hours. I would appreciate any up to date solution, even if it's a matter of some kind of custom userchrome.css edit.

How do you completely turn off update checks in Firefox v64? You can use a policies.json file to disable updates for all users. https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/README.md or https://winaero.com/blog/disable-updates-firefox-63-above/
You can use a policies.json file in the distribution folder in the Firefox installation folder instead as also listed in the article, so no need to use GPO keys in the Windows Registry. • https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customizing-firefox-using-policiesjson
The update interval is set via a pref on the about:config page that is 12 hours (halve day) by default.
