What are you talking about? The home page or the search bar?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Then reinstall the latest version.

I wonder where you downloaded Firefox from. You may have installed the Yahoo special "partner version" that has some modifications that "favor" Yahoo services and may use a Yahoo page as the Start Page for Firefox.
When you open Help > About Firefox does that window say anything about Yahoo there?
