For the last two weeks, when I click on an item in Daily Kos, it does not open but rather a box pops up saying 'allow" which I must click. How did that happen?

Daily Kos is a website which collects items from the web and passes them along. To read the items, I click on them in the list. Suddenly, 2 or 3 weeks ago, when I clicked on an item, the page came up blank with a small block in the upper right hand corner saying "allow". Now I must click on 'allow' every time, instead of simply going to the item when I click on it. What's happened and how do I fix it?

Allow... the page to redirect? Many users seems to have turned on an accessibility feature accidentally. To turn off the redirect block, you can use the Advanced panel of the Preferences page:

"3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences > Advanced

On the General mini-tab, in the Accessibility section, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Does that fix it?
