Why am I seeeing ads that relate to sites that I have visted?
If, for example, I visit Hudson's Bay site, later on at other sites, ads for things I looked at on Hudson's Bay appear. Why? Isn't that tracking? I use DuckDuckGo.

Hi, moira!
DuckDuckGo is a search engine that will not track the terms you search for. Once you click on a search result and go to the website, though, the website can choose to leave a cookie on your device for tracking purposes. DuckDuckGo would have no control over that.
Tracking doesn't usually collect personally identifying information, however.
I hope that helps you! Let us know if it's still unclear.
