I often need to be able to use the arrow keys to navigate my screen, especially in order to find and click on browser links. However, in the latest version of Firefox on a new macOS Ventura machine, the arrow keys are interpreted by Firefox even though they shouldn't be; at the least corresponding box in "Settings" is unchecked.

How can toggle this behavior off?

Thank you, David Romano

"Always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages" is disabled in settings and you didn't accidentally enable it by pressing the F7 key?

Thanks for suggesting I check whether caret browsing was on — I didn't know about that feature. But to answer your question, no: neither feature is (was) enabled.

I just discovered mouse keys *are* working — I'm on a new keyboard I'm not familiar with, and was simply not activating mouse keys when I thought I was. Sorry for the inadvertent misdirection!
