I am on 49.0.2 and can't update to the new 50.0. I've tried dumping cache in the Google Play store app. I've tried endlessly hitting the "Check for Updates" button under Settings/Mozilla Firefox

It's been out for a week now, I can't get it. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance! -bk

The check for updates is only for if you installed Firefox apk from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/android/all/ not from Google Play.

James - Sorry - I am new to FF on Android.

I've got a bunch of questions...

So is it the case that I need to sideload the apk from the source you pointed me to in order to get 50.0 now?

Is it typical for Google Play to not have the latest version?

If so, how long does it usually take for Google Play to get the latest version?

If I want the "Update" function to work, I need to have sideloaded an apk?

Thanks in advance! -bk
