As soon as I installed Firefox 18.0.1 my new laptop is so slow I can't even use please can someone tell me how to remove it. I have looked up all of the online posts but it will not let me uninstall it please help.

What's your operating system -- Windows 8, MacOS X, Linux?

Note that Firefox does not run in the background, so you shouldn't see any effects when Firefox is not running.

Please research the download source you used (e.g., in your other browser's history) and let us know the URL.

Check your Task Manager to see what is hogging your resources.

I don't remember what site I downloaded it from I'm sorry but I do know that as soon as in installed this Firefox this is what happened the laptop freezes locks up! I just want to take it out but it just won't let me!

Hi Kevsat, did you try the steps in this article: Uninstall Firefox from your computer. If the article does not correctly detect the relevant operating system, there is a button about 2.5 inches down the page you can click to change to the relevant operating system.
