What a dumb [removed], I'm sure I remember my firefox account password, but it wouldn't let me in. What the fudge thought it's a good idea to give 5 attempts and then block the account for 15 minutes? Even more, they erase all associated with that account data if you'll try to reset the password, ridiculous. Geniuses, that's the worst UX I could imagine, I hope responsible people will lose all their saved data as I did.

Hi

Thank you for your feedback.

These measures are in place to protect your information. Please appreciate that Firefox Sync is there to help transfer data between two copies of Firefox and not as an online backup.

And I can't do this now, I've been always using it when upgrading OS, always the same password, now it just doesn't work. I have recovery codes, I have enabled 2FA, and all this bunch of crap here for what? None of these really help, I just can't login and that's it. And even damn reset procedure is broken entirely, it's also tied to 15 min rule from password attempts. I'll be sure to avoid this trash at any cost and uninstall it every time I upgrade to new Ubuntu.
