When I attempt to connect to the Hotel networks it blocks access due to being insecure. If i open IE (The bad guys) and connect to the network then firefox works. how do I fix this

Use an HTTP address instead of an HTTPS address to authenticate to the hotspot provider. Then after that, you can browse normally.

It helps if you haven't visited the HTTP address before. If Firefox shows a cached page, you can try Ctrl+Shift+R to bypass the cached page and hit the network.
