I hate it when Thunderbird updates as afterwards things are not the same. Since recent update when I click on to emails there are NO sidebars alongside or at the top?? I have checked and it tells me that the page is too large, how can I get it to revert back to what I have enjoyed for many years. Old expression 'If it aint broke do not fix it" why update constantly????

I started reading this and it all sounded simple, then you threw the spanner in the works with the page size.

So I guess we need to start with What do your mean? or more precisely what exactly did you do to get an error about page being to large? Perhaps you could post a screen shot of exactly what you are seeing. It certainly does not sound like anything I have ever seen in Thunderbird. Especially post update.

Hi Matt, Thanks for your reply. I continued to dig around and found an answer"click view-layout-folder pane, then view-folders-all, and suddenly the sidebar with 'inbox-drafts and send etc' popped up. None of this happened until a Thunderbird update !!!!!!

Thanks again

Robin
