It is possible that some bookmarks contain characters that Firefox is able to handle or are otherwise not compatible. You can check the bookmarks in Google Chrome around the spot where it stops.

If the import wizard isn't able to import all Google Chrome bookmarks then you can export the bookmarks in Google Chrome to an HTML file and import this file in Firefox.
