Can't save password Thunderbird Mac ..

I just moved all my old emails from windows to Mac .. I did what I found online by troubleshooting .. show folder and copying it.. and then pasting its content in thunderbird Mac.. password can't be solved and it keep asking me for passwords.. I tried what I found online... delete key3.db and cert8.db .. didn't change a thing..not sure what to do .. I keep trying several tips I find online and every time I go to settings, security and show password I find it empty Please help

Note that key3.db and cert8.db have been replaced in TB 60 by key4.db and cert9.db; logins.json stores encrypted passwords, and requires key4.db and cert9.db to work.
