After Thunderbird 38.4.0 installed itself, my Lightening calendar is GONE WITHOUT A TRACE.. No Lightening/Calendar tab although Lightening is installed as add-on and enabled...

I've already read ALL of the other reports of the calendar disappearing and there at NO fixes there. I don't ALLOW ANYTHING MacAfee on my computer...there is NO reference to Calendar in option, etc.

Windows 7 Professional - SP1

NO crash reports...Jpg of Installed extensions attached...

I'm going to try to UPGRADE to an EARLIER VERSION OF THUNDERBIRD to get my desperately needed calendar back!

Can you uninstall then download and re-install Lightning?

Old versions here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/

Make sure you download the appropriate version of Lightning.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm feeling quite orphaned here. I cannot find an earlier version of Thunderbird to install to get my calendar back. I've got NO problem doing that and blocking further "updates" for a while...

Is this what you mean?

Yes, except that the image doesn't load, so I can't see anything. Can you try again? Thanks.

Don't panic. Your calendar is not lost.

That DID THE TRICK!

I THOUGHT I was re-installing Lightning but wasn't.

One has to DELETE it then REINSTALL it...and luckily, the data is NOT lost by deleting Lightning!

Well done, Lightning folks!

Mahalo nui loa!!!
