Upgrading computer, will Firefox 40.0.02 work with win 8.1,64 bit?

My current computer does not have enough memory to support Firefox 40.0.02 and I want to upgrade to a system with more RAM. I am looking at a win 8.1, 64 bit computer and want to make sure I'll be able to use the newest Firefox. It has all the other requirements but I couldn't find any specifics on 8.1 and 64 bit.
