Why does firefox save some usernames and passwords and not others - especially for the same website?

I use several different LogMeIn accounts, each with their own username and password. About a month ago, Firefox stopped asking to save the username and password to new accounts I access. I've even deleted all accounts and started over - most of the time I will be asked to save to login information but other LogMeIn accounts I access Firefox will not ask to save the passwords. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I got this taken care of. After removing all the old login names and passwords, you need to restart Firefox with a warm boot.
