Hi Whichever selection I make on pdf files in your Settings your system always saves the file unnecessarily even if I am just 'viewing in Firefox' so I end up with loads of files usually on my Desktop which I don't want and I have to go through them all later and delete them

Surely there should be a 'Just view only' setting for pdf files. If I want to save them after I've read the contents then fine I can manually do this but your default setting when you view pdf files in Firefox of saving every single file automatically is insane. Much of the time when you're doing research, you just want to view the pdf file and when you close it you want it to be gone. I appreciate I can save them to another destination apart from my Desktop but wherever I save them I'm going to end up with hundreds of useless pdf files that I only needed temporarily when I was viewing the contents-I don't need them saved automatically.

Can you please address this by giving a 'Just view only' setting? Thank you Michael

So, here is the thing. There is the Downloads History, displaying all downloads done in the past. This list has several features so far. Among them are:

• delete a file
• remove from history
• clear history

Hitting one of these by accident is very easy. This is a massive oversight. Things that can happen:

• You want to remove several files from the history but accidentally hit deleting them.
• You want to remove several files from the history but accidentally hit Clear History, which can especially result removing failed downloads from the past that you might want to retry.
• You hit Clear History, expecting it to spare failed downloads intuitively. As it is, I will *never* use it, since I obviously want to retry failed downloads.

Therefore, I propose several feature requests:

1. For history deletion/restoration, I propose an undo option. Certainly, the history does not take up much space. My specific recommendation is that history up to one week is logged. It can be deleted completely where the cache is also emptied, and old entries in the backup are removed automatically when the corresponding file is updated (something gets added or removed from history).
2. For file deletion/restoration, I simply propose that the files are moved to the trash of the system, instead of being directly deleted. I am not sure why this is not already the case. Should be quite easy to implement as well.
3. For Clear History, additionally to point 1, I propose that the user is prompted with "are you sure? Yes/No". Also, Clear History ignores failed downloads. Like that, it actually becomes useful. And again, this should be trivial to implement. I'd also be quite fine if this is made an option one can choose in the settings.

Note that I have seen replies to people with these or related problems that went like "you can go to the profile folder and search for this and that SQL file and..." - no. The points I wrote should be something that a casual user would want to have available, and going into technical folders is anything but user friendly. It should be doable with easy straightforward widgets within the browser.

I have been trying to use this service for some time. Everytime I try to sigh in for some reason I am blocked. It just sits there. This service workes fine on all other drowsers, but not Firefox. PLEASE, PLEASE GIVE ME A FIX .

I'm trying to remove Firefox from a laptop. When I start the uninstall process it reaches the progress bar that says Unisntalling Firefox... and hangs there. 30 minutes and no discernable change.

All the buttons on the dialog are disabled and the only way to get out of it is to restart the computer.

Whenever I try to login my fresh browser, Firefox says "Account Disconnected" as soon as I sign in and sync begins. I have tried refreshing Firefox, clearing cache etc, deleting Mozilla folders from local and roaming, but issue is still the same. Email hidden for privacy reasons

downloading only allows .part files to appear, from Google Photos. In spite of the error message, the source file is intact and can be viewed from my Android device ( source )

When I'm watching a show, sometimes I get uncomfortable during certain parts and will click the "skip" button a couple times until the scene is over. However, sometimes If I do this too many times the audio will completely stop (but the video continues playing). I will need to refresh the page for it to fix.

I've tried running firefox in troubleshooting mode but the issue seemed to still be there. Doesnt happen on any other browsers either.

I've been trying to watch live sports events on SECN+ through my Hulu subscription, but I'm encountering an error message stating, "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I discovered that Firefox is blocking the stream, while it works perfectly on Chrome. With the college football season and other sports events approaching, I’m concerned that if this issue persists, I may have to stop using Firefox, which I've relied on for over two decades. I use Mozilla on two things, my laptop and my android cell phone. The syncing on my cell phone appears to work perfectly well. However, when I am on my laptop, I am unable to view my "Tabs from Other Devices" - It will show me tabs from days ago. I've tried manually syncing on both devices but nothing happens.

The only thing that seems to work is if I log out of my Mozilla on my cell phone and log back in but then it will stop syncing again.

If something else isn't syncing, I honestly don't notice because I don't use anything else much.

For the last couple of weeks, I can no longer connect to my bank (Flagstar). I assumed an update would come out to remedy it, but now I am getting somewhat worried. When I try to connect, my page goes into a long 'working' status before telling me there is a "Problem Loading Page"

Good evening, For a few days I have this problem (probably with newest version (129.0/1). Each time i try to search something in a new tab by typing in search bar and pressing enter - it just will not proceed. The new tab just stays titled "new tab", doesn't proceed further until I press it few times (6-8 times) - then it loads the search engine with results.

It NEVER happened before. I am certain that I did not change anything.

When I hover over tabs, Firefox also displays a text below. So, for example, if I hover over the tab for Google Calendar, a text below shows 'Google Calender - August 2024'. Can I disable the text somehow?

I'm using Firefox Firefox 129.01.

Whether I use Firefox or Google, when i pull up search results NONE of the businesses show a rating anymore, a feature which used to be there. Example, I search for "home insurance". A list of Insurance companies with their overall average rating should show up. The ratings are gone. All of them. Why is this? Same happens regardless of what type of business I am searching for.

Netzero says I am located in Phoenix, Az. I am in Tucson, Arizona. It won't let me change it. I have tried numerous times but to no avail. What is the solution to this? I am going crazy trying to rectify this on my own.

On a LIvestream I'm getting an UNDEFINED error code I've cleared cookies but the problem continued I don't know how to clear if it's on you end or the web site I use to be able to beat it before it appears not it will not let me watch any shows at all

Hello Help, I go to https://support.mozilla.org/gl/questions/1340339 as per Google's directions and find 3 Firefox Feedback items, yet no way to get to the Google's and Mozilla's standard prevalent "Go to Help and click 'Submit Feedback'," yet there is no such option for this. It's odd bc I see this:

  "2 respostas    3 have this problem     2 views"

Repostas isn't even in English, and there's no way to click a "I have this problem exact same problem" and the "Views" have to be greater than 2. I see one angry feedback was complaining there is no way to submit feedback, and the response is the standard answer. Are you talking about a different Firefox or you're, for some reason, giving the Android solution? Or perhaps you pulled 3 questions submitted via the question forum, well before more people could say they also have the same issue, and posted static copies of them. At least have the wherewithal to tell us there's no way to just submit feedback other than by the question forum. This doesn't seem like too much to ask of you where you get the chance to defend yourselves when it's required. And it seems reasonable to submit feedback so as a person gets an answer, so why not say so? Anyway, that's my peeve except for a different one I'll ask separately. Cheers, r P.S.
