The Firefox is crashing unexpectedly once or twice a day. I have installed Firebug addon (Extension) which is very much essential extention for me. Henceforth I cannot remove that. But to resolve this problem I tried complete uninstallation & reinstalling the different firefox version with their compatible firebug addon.

But still the firefox is crashing. Can someone please help me out.

The usual advice is to disable Firebug when you are not using it, which is not helpful in your case. Other advice is to create a new profile with Firebug as the only add-on.

I would expect that adding to memory would help.

You could have other problems. As a start you could try disabling Hardware Acceleration. Options>Advanced>General>Browsing>uncheck Use hardware acceleration . . . If that helps you could try updating your graphics card or getting a new one but that isn't really necessary.

After that you could give troubleshooting a try(Safe Mode, Problematic extensions etc) -

Hi Alan, Thanks a lot for your reply.

I use Firebug extension most of the time & therefore can not disable it. The other option is to create a new profile (Run- firefox -p). But I believe after uninstalling the firefox even the profile folder gets deleted & I have tried re-installing firefox many a times to use different version. I have uploaded my crash report for anymore detailed reference.

So to start with the troubleshooting I have unchecked the hardware acceleration option as suggested.

Now let me observe my firefox for 2 or 3 days. I will revert you with the results. Many thanks. :)

Crash reports are outside my orbit but I'm sure you can keep your profiles.

Someone will give more expert advice on that.

Ok. No problem Alan. But atleast I am trying your suggestion of unchecking the hardware acceleration. Lets see the results now. Thanks. :)

Hi Alan,

Yesterday I had unchecked the Hardware acceleration. But on the very next day i.e. today it again crashed now. Any idea about this...? :(

No, I'm just about out of ideas if you have worked through the Troubleshooting link above. Running in Safe Mode for a while might be revealing. You should get off the beta sequence, too.

Someone else, more expert, should pick up this thread. I've just about retired from this forum.
