Hello. When I paste something inside firefox, then firefox suddenly shuts down and after that a window pops up, informing me that firefox has crashed and asking if I want to load the previous session... No changes have been made to my computer lately. Firefox has been updated to 113.0.1 but the problem has not been solved. Any suggestion?

Thank you.

I'm currently in Win7 and have been copy and pasting all morning here on the forum with no issues. Provide the exact steps you're doing to get the error.

I have the same issue in Safe Mode too. I get the error e.g. when I copy a line from a webpage and precisely when I paste it in a field of firefox (e.g. in the search bar of firefox, in the search bar of youtube etc.) Sorry for my english and thanks for your help.

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

(I had to use "drag n' drop" from a .doc file to manage this...) Thanks again

ESET is crashing your Firefox. Try to disable secure browser in ESET.

It seems that this was the problem. Now "paste" is working again! Thank you very much.
