Hello, I just restarted my PC after a Windows 10 update (Windows Update). Launching Firefox from the task bar no longer worked (link removed). So I launched Firefox from the start menu. A completely blank version of Firefox appeared on the screen, as if I had just installed it. No more favorites, no more extensions, no more customization. All Firefox installation files in the AppData directory are dated today. How can a Windows update remove a Firefox installation? Is it possible to recover favorites and bookmarks? Thank you for your answers. Regards,

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
