After the last update i encountered a plugin in add-ons I neither want nor approve of. It freezes my browser, as well as slowing my computer, and locking it up. I disabled the plugin which did not appear again, but i still have the same problem occasionally while surfing. The plugin is not present in add-ons visibly, but i know something is wrong when i keep getting script errors which is how i discovered the plugin. I use flash player and silverlight, and am happy with them. Both are up to date and working properly so I know it is not either of them causing it.I do not want this plugin so how can i block it and it's effects on my system?

This plugin does not work in firefox, and I really want nothing to do with it as it acts more like a virus than anything else.

Go to your Uninstall, and remove the program.

It is not visibly listed in addons nor in programs and features so can't be removed that way. I just need to block it's effects on my system. That is why i stated it acts more like a virus than anything else. It does not seem to be installed actively on my system, but when viewing certain content it seems to activate and interferes with flash player causing it to crash. After getting the browser closed and restarted it is fine again. I deactivated it in addons the first time i discovered it and it has not re-listed there. It only seems to appear when viewing certain content.
