I have Windoze 10 and Firefox 43.0.4

When I open My MSN page the topic pics are suddenly blank ..... as are slideshows!

Here are the add-ons I have, and I am sure I made no changes lately.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, but EVERYTHING came back EXACTLY like it was (may as well not even uninstall with windoze 10)

Any ideas what I can try?

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Are you using any blocking programs besides AdBlock?

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <web site>.

I also disabled all the add-ons and I had flash disabled, so I re-enabled flash too!

Note that Firefox 42+ has a Tracking Protection feature that is enabled by default in Private Browsing mode. When you are in private browsing mode then Firefox can show a shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar that some content is affected.

You can disable this feature in "Options/Preferences > Privacy" or via the about:privatebrowsing page that get when you open a New Private Window.

  • Options/Preferences > Privacy: "Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows"
