Cursor jumping - NOT a keypad problem!

more options

Running Windows 8. My mouse jumps to the beginning of almost all text fields every few seconds. Note this is not random jumping - the cursor is only jumping to the beginning of the field. I say "almost all" because this forum post is the first I've found where it doesn't. The problem never occurs in non-internet programs, or toolbar fields, or login/form fields. Just text fields in Firefox. Can not duplicate in Chrome. I've been typing stuff up in my word processor and then copy/pasting in order to get anything done on my blog or email. Restarted my computer, then uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. No improvement. I've tested and this isn't remotely a keypad problem, like most cursor jumping.

I knew I was forgetting something basic! Thank you. Apparently the WebCensor add-on was causing the cursor jumping. I didn't have the problem at first, so probably an update.

Now I need to find a different add-on to turn profanity-laced tirades on tumblr into amusements.
