I'm using a macbook air, and I was trying to use the fingerprint login thing, when instead of unlocking my puter it shut down the whole thing and it started to make very loud fan noises. I waited a few minutes for it to stop, then got back on, and my bookmarks and saved passwords were deleted from firefox. No passwords or logins were reset on any other applications. This is very alarming since I had just made an email and some accounts to manage some event I'm holding, and now the password I trusted to firefox is lost. I need this password, as otherwise I cannot log into my email since I hadn't time to set up recovery measures (I have tried to recover it, but there's insufficient evidence for google that I own the account :/ ).

I tried looking through my browsing history for anything helpful, but everything was deleted from there as well. I also was not logged into my Mozilla account at the time either, so I am really in some sort of predicament here, , I'd appreciate any advice and ideas here!!

sorry for my bad english. in german I always get in a circle an come never to this page to put in a question. I use version 127.0 and look for in the option to change save file behavior. I already asked google and the comments are from 2022. I like to activate a third button in the save file message box. Currently there are 2 buttons and I want to activate the 3. butten named "save a copy" or like this. I want to choose the directory always self and when I like I want to decide to save a copy with this button and firefox add a copy number automaticaly. I know from google if I do not use the option "always ask where to save file" firefox do so. As background I need this when I use a auto clicker to use a button on a page to download smartmeter data files. Unfortunatly the file have always the same name and not include the date and time. Unfortunatly I am not able to configure firefox automaticaly with the auto clicker or in the crone job file.

Basically I just bought a 4k monitor while also planning to use the old 1080p one. As it turns out the default size setting makes the fonts on the big screen too small, or the small screen too big.

In Windows this wouldn't be an issue since I can just use multi scale. Ubuntu has that too, but it weirdly implemented and causes the smaller screens to be kinda blurly. The accepted solution is to use Wayland but it causes everything to be unbearably slow to me so that's out.

Not expecting such an odd use-case to have an implemented solution but I'm eager to be surprised.
