I'm using Wordpress for my website. I have a Mac. I've just added audio using Quicktime. But my message does not play if I use Firefox. How can I get it to play? If I use Safari it does play.

This will sound stupid, but do you have Quicktime installed? I know on Windows, browsers use Windows Media Player (or HTML5 in certain cases) to play media. Maybe you're missing a browser plugin?

What kind of media file are you trying to play and how does the server send the file?

Note that current Firefox releases may try to play media files with the HTML5 media player and use an audio tag. This may fail on Mac because support for some HTML5 audio formats like MP3 has not been implemented yet.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
