I have to edit my emails every time i send a message John & Mary Doe<J&Mdoe@btinternet.com> John & Mary Doe (example)

I have five email addresses, all are set like the above, so everytime I send an email I have to delete everything before and after my actual email address. I was getting a simillar problem in sending to those in my address book but deleted the DISPLAY NAME, however the display names have started to come back again, on their own. I can't find anything that edits the problem out of my email addresses. Help.

Houston we have a problem. (At least I think we do)

Why are you editing everything down to just an email address? A display name is quite acceptable and in fact expected these days. The recipient sees that they got a mail from John and Mary. Much friendlier than J&MDOE@BTINTERNET.COM.

Thank you very much for your reply. I should have said that I actually cannot send any emails at all. I get the message shown in the image, which doesn't mean much to me.
