Where does Firefox store 'Site Data'? The 'Clear All Data' button is greyed out and not selectable.

I clear this out periodically, but lately, the 'Clear All Data' button is greyed out and you can't select it. I want direct access to the folder so I can make sure that websites aren't storing tracking files in it.

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
