Next, to recover your bookmarks, you can restore a backup file from that Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop. This article describes how to use the restore feature:

Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer

Assuming that Firefox doesn't find your bookmark backups automatically, at the bottom of the drop-down where it says Choose File, choose that to click up to the desktop and load your last bookmark backup file (it will be in the bookmarkbackups folder).

Any luck?

Did the Reset feature create an Old Firefox Settings folder on your desktop? If so, good, don't delete that, your bookmarks should be in there.

The mouse move problem has been mentioned by several users over the past week. The best workaround at the moment is rolling back to Firefox 24. There is a link to the old installer in this article: Install an older version of Firefox. To change your update settings so you can defer the reinstallation of Firefox 25, see this article: Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox.

The developers are trying to track down why some systems exhibit this problem. If you would be willing to provide more information about what Firefox is doing when this problem occurs, by installing a special version of Firefox that logs more data while you browse (a couple of hours probably would be enough), please let us know.

hey, just to keep you updated - there is now a fix available for firefox 25, which should address the particular problem of pages not loading unless the mouse is moved.

if you have downgraded to firefox 24 to work around the issue, please go to firefox > options > advanced > update and turn automatic updates back on. then go to firefox > help > about firefox which should trigger the update to firefox 25.0.1. in case you need to download the setup file for firefox 25.0.1 separately you can do so from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/#firefox

The better download link for Firefox 25.0.1 is at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ versus that channels page. Also this will give you the full installer versus the stub installer on Windows.
