How do I disable middle mouse clicks in the menu bar opening a new tab?

Firefox has had this feature since I can remember. In "about:config" I've set every mention of middle mouse to false, and it still opens a new tab when I middle mouse click in the menu bar. I want it to do nothing!!

Why it matters to me: I have two monitors and use Display Fusion to manage my desktop... it uses middle click in menu bars to move a window to the opposite monitor. It works in every program except Firefox.

-> Open about:config in a New window & set all these values to False

  • 1) browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick
  • 2) middlemouse.openNewWindow
  • 3) middlemouse.contentLoadURL
  • 4) middlemouse.paste
  • 5) middlemouse.scrollbarPosition

-> Restart Firefox

Check and tell if its working. IF these settings revert back to their previous values, see this:
