While downloading XLS is converting as PDF

While downloading XLS file from some webpage, it is converting as PDF ( File extension is changing from XLS to PDF) , Same is downloading properly in other browsers

Being an that website open the developer tools (ctrl + shift + i) and switch to the Network tab. Then try to download a file. There should a new entry on a list show up. Check the Type column of that entry.
