What virus protection software are you using. Just saying Trojan is rather vague. What is the file name that was claimed to be a trojan and where was it found?. Did you do a recent definitions update in your unnamed virus scanner?

By Firefox update was it a internal Firefox update or a Firefox download and install.

If by Firefox download then can you please say where you downloaded from, for what OS and language of Firefox.

Firefox for desktop (Windows, macOS, and Linux) from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ has never been found to have a trojan or such as it would be hot news if a Firefox version was indeed infected with a trojan or such..

Some antivirus scanners have been known to occasionally give false positives after a recent version release and is often times fixed quickly in a new definitions update for the scanner.

I downloaded the 64-bit Firefox en-CA for Windows from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and uploaded to virustotal and it gives a 0/60 result. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/7ca4f40f2159f6d2832514e65a0a4877827149fc423665eff79a251c3d8e2b19?nocache=1
