I have Thunderbird installed, at the moment 78.14. I have two accounts active. In both accounts I have TB to delete mail form the Junk folder after one(1) day. It does in one of the two accounts and not in the other. Whatever I try, it won't work. Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this? Regards,

Is the Junk folder managed by TB in both accounts, or is one managed by the mail provider? In TB, each account has its own Junk Settings. If it's a provider folder, you might not be able to adjust the emptying schedule, e.g. it's fixed at 30 days..

No, since both are pop-accounts I don't see how the provider could manage anything.... in either account.

Is the one-day retention set for each account?

It is indeed!
