I was using the beta version but some websides like linkedin stopped working. So I uninstalled the beta 70 and installed normal version 69. After the installation I refreshed firefox. Then I had to reset the firefox account password. Then I logged in and all my synced data was gone - browsing history, bookmarks - years of collection useful webpages. How can I recover the bookmarks from my firefox account please?

Then I had to reset the firefox account password.

Resetting the sync password, or changing its e-mail, will remove all data from the servers.

This is a security feature. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information

Refreshing Firefox {web link} is a LAST RESORT ! !

Refreshing Firefox -- easily fix most problems

If you're having problems with Firefox, refreshing it can help. The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks and open tabs. Everything else, like user settings and add-ons, are removed. Note: Refresh saves your old profile to the desktop in a folder called Old Firefox.
