Hi, t-bird 65b2 dev build w10. I didn't see where I can easily revert an IMAP acct back to POP. I need to do that for an earthlink acct. So I really need to create (again) the earthlink acct as POP? Having saved the profile boxes (inbox, sent, trash) incl. .msf, I just replace those boxes with the same name (inbox, etc.), in the newly created POP acct, with the old boxes (inbox, etc.), and everything "should" work? Thank you.

You can't change an account from POP to IMAP, or vice versa. Copy your existing mail to Local Folders, set up the account with the desired protocol (with a different name), and once it's working, remove the previous account from Account Actions in Account Settings.
