I am in the sign business & receive emails with pdf files attached regularly - in the last month we have been getting pdf files sent to us that keep saying that file is damaged & can't read it when I try to open them - is it thunderbird that is doing something to pdf files when they come in from server ....desperate to find a solution as it difficult with so many of not able to be read .......thanx mick
