What type of log file? What is the file name? What is the file path or URI?

You can open a log file with a text or word editor.

Try to open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File" or by dragging the file in the Firefox window. You need to use the file protocol to open a file from the hard drive in Firefox. You get this error if you type the file name with e:\\xxx in the location bar.

If you use "File > Open File" then you can see what URL to use.
