Hi. When I initially set up an account, there was a Synchronization and Storage option. However, after I visited the page with these options, it disappeared. Even when I remove the account and try to re-add it, this option is now unavailable.

How can i get this option back? Do I need to reinstall Thunderbird?

Thanks.

Synchronization and storages is only available with IMAP mail accounts. I assume your adding a pop account which does not have this option.

Ah, thank you. I'm trying to get my Yahoo! Plus (pop) account to download to Thunderbird, but I have so many emails there that I don't know it's possible unless I only start downloading from some date in the recent past. Do you know how I can do that? Thanks!

So thanks for the lead; I set up my Yahoo account to forward to Thunderbird using IMAP and asked it to only synchronize the last six weeks, but it looks like it's trying to download everything... any ideas why or how to have it not do that? Thanks again.
