I check my web-based e-mail everynight, and I find that some mails which are missed by thunderbird are present in my web-based e-mail. It means thunderbird miss recieving some mails, which could be very important. So I wonder if there are some problem with thunderbird setting or my PC-setting. Could anybody tell me how to fix the problem, thanks very much !

Is your account IMAP? Are these mails marked by your provider in any way, such as spam or important?

First of all, thanks for your help. I just get a notice from our academy. there is an error in Academy's mail system, and mybe it's the reason that I can't receive some messages.
