How can I install Mozilla Firefox with Google instead of "my web search"?

have tried uninstalling Mozilla Firefox, "My Web Search" seems to be a part of the package whenever I "re-install". I DO NOT want "My Web Search" on my pc. Please tell me how to get Mozilla Firefox and google like I used to have.

Very Easy no need to install any thing. 1. In address bar Type in about:config (press enter) 2. Press enter again to accept I will be careful... 3. Type browser.startup.homepage_override.buildID in search bar 4. right click on it and click reset. 5. Type browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone in search bar 6. Right click on it and click rest. you can also define which page to open in new Tab by typing in "browser.newtab.url" > right click > define the URL you want in new tab.

close Firefox and restart it. Good to go

MyWebSearch is a virus. That was happening on my dad's computer and I had to scan with Malwarebytes to remove it. Here's the website to download the free version of Malwarebytes:http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Perform a full scan on both HDD's (Hard Drive Disks) and MyWebSearch should pop up as malware. After the scan is done then restart your computer as it prompts you too, and then uninstall Firefox. Then reinstall it back on your computer. That should resolve your issue.

You can find instructions at this page http://www.mindspark.com/main/toolbar-info/remove-mws/index.shtml Nevertheless, to unsinstall the program, I suggest you use a better uninstaller thant the Windows utility. RevoUnistaller is a very good uninstaller, much better than the Windows uninstall utiity, which generally leaves a lot of junk behind.... Just install the free version from the website http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html You can remove or disallow toolbars from Firefox (Tools. Options, Manage extensions), and define your default homepage on Tools, Options, General
