How do I submit feedback about "Submit Feedback" not working?

more options

It would seem that the Mozilla people do not want negative feedback? The "Firefox made me sad" page will not allow me to submit anything. The "Submit Feedback" button does not do anything. The address is input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback#sad. I was unable to send more than one idea to the feedback at input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback#idea. Is there some kind of limit on the number of ideas that one computer will be allowed to send? Again, the Submit button does nothing.

I haven't used that feature before. Does it make any difference whether you start from the Help menu each time?

Try to clear the cache and the cookies from that site.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

It makes no difference whether I start from the Help menu or enter the URL in the address bar. The page is the same, and the behaviour is the same.

I have not been allowing the imput site to set cookies, and I did clear the cache and the history. I was able to post another idea, but when I tried to submit the same one that I wanted to input before, that was blocked. I am beginning to think that there are maybe some key words that Firefox is set up to recognize and block any input containing those. Is that likely?

The issue which concerns me is the one about Firefox 6 greying out most of the text of the URL in the address bar. I have enough problems reading text with low contrast between text and background, and do not need the interface to be made that much harder to use. I am not the only person with such a problem. Copying other browsers just because they are doing it does not make it desirable.

On either the "Firefox made me sad" page or the "I Have an Idea for Firefox" page the Submit FeedBack button does nothing. I am using FireFox 6 on Windows XP. What is frustrating is that neither of those pages even allow you to use Internet Explorer!

I tried submitting a feature request at "I Have an Idea for Firefox" at http://input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback. Unfortunately, that Submit button goes nowhere for me! Maybe it will work for you.

Same problem with FF 13.0.1 on Mac. One of several problems. Mozilla seems to have given up on the Mac.

Hi thaneb, I don't think Mozilla has "given up on the Mac." Have you started a new thread about the issues you're having?

Agreed it seems impossible to lodge a complaint with them nor can I find a contact to send my complaint to. Does anyone else have this issue. VERY FRUSTRATING FIREFOX!!

Make sure that your response text isn't too long if submit isn't working.
There is a length restriction on the input site.

I did try and short response but it still wont go through, I tried to do a complaint through the firefox has made me unhappy section. No luck. It seems they just dont want to support their customers who are unhappy ;-(

Hi TBean6869, I don't know where the submissions go, but have you posted your question here to see whether there already is a solution?
